Spare fuses and maybe some needle nose pliers to extract them. Be honest with yourself about what work you will actually do on the side of the road and then think of tools. Most likely, you wont need many tools beyond a combo allen/torx driver, some fuses, and zip ties.

1. Well charged cell phone to call nearest dealer if under warranty.
2. Small pliers
3. Screw driver with differant tips
4. Standard and metric allen wrenches
5. Maybe a small spool ofplastic coated wire to tie up things if they fall off. (so it want scratch anything painted)
That is about it.
I bought a small pouch about the size of a small womans clutchpurse and they fit just right to keep from moving around in the fork or saddle bag.

Scott is right in saying you are limited but I actually had to remove my rear tire and patch the tube down in Big Bend, Texasrecently and if it wasn't for a nice couple to lend me a 12vair pump I would have been stuck with a huge wrecker bill to get it from where it was back to the camp grounds where I was staying. I was out in the middle of nowhere and it was about 100 degrees and my water was limited.I would make sure and have a portable air pump just in case you get a flat due to a screw or something. At least that way you could fill it back up and go a little further to try to get back to a decent destination. I picked a mini SLIME 12v air compressor up from Autozone for around $30.00 and it's about the size of a portable radio. A driver with the bits in the handle are good to have as well as a pair of pliers and maybe a small cresent wrench. Allen wrenches and some torx. I am working on putting together a common sizes group of tools that could come in handy in a pinch

I have a tire plug kit, and an inflator that uses CO2 cartridges. Tire plugs are an emergency measure. I'll get the tire repairedproperly ASAP. 6 tie wraps in 3 assorted sizes. A three foot piece of electrical wire and some electrical tape. A small flashlight, multi bit screwdriver, mini ratchet set w/sockets, Torx/hex set, and pliers w/side cutters. It all fits into a surprisingly small package.
