Works for me too, I try and touch it right down on the cut in the pavement for the trigger.

Here in Arkansas it is also legal to run a light if it is safe.
My story: I got a speeding ticket on my bike one night going to town (70 in a 55). After I got the ticket and left was at a stop light for a while and decided to run it. The cop that just gave me the ticket had pulled up behind me............didn't pull me over though ( I guess he knew the law)!

The kick stand thing might of work in my case. I could see the cuts in the pavement big round circles. Our bikes were side by side. A half a ton of harley iron should of triggered it.
Any one ever hear of putting industrial magnets under the bike?

Does anyone know the law in NYS relating to going through a red light that won't turn green? I just spent about 20 minutes with google trying to find anything about it, but to no avail.
