So, I'm up and running with my "stage 1" mods: PCIII, Rush Slip-ons, and Arlen Ness Big Sucker (all purchased from FuelMoto) and I was wondering if there are any further adjustments I should make at this time for peak performance. I have read on a few threads here and there that some people tinker with the throttle after installing a PCIII. Also, should I lay down the additional cash and have it dynotuned at this time?
People here say the FuelMoto supplied maps are pretty accurate. I bought my PCIII from Eastern and had the bike dyno tuned by Jim Sabin in Dallas. Good luck!!
Save your money for now. Ride the current map for a while to see if you're getting popping on deceleration, horrible fuel economy, bluing, extreme golding or any other oddities. If so, have Jamie and crew adjust your map.
In addition to what stagolee said if you have some popping on decell, check the "0 Throttle" settings.
If they are "0"try adding a little fuelat the "0 %Throttle" position.
I had someand have tried adding a value of 10, all the way thru the tables(s),and that has cured most of it.
I may try to add a litle more as I (very) occasionally still have a little popping.
I did not buy mine from Fuel Moto, so I'm not sure how the MAP is from them.
