I'm running Big Radius, AN Big Sucker and the XiED's on a 07 FXD Super Glide.
My MPG went from 42 to 46 and it runs stronger and smoother that ever, its approx 50 degree's cooler per my measurements.
Same goes for my Wifes 07 FXSTC.
Best advice is to take a few minutes and call Steve from Nightrider. He is one of the most knowledgeable people I have spoken with and is always happy to explain anything toyou.
Thanks for the help guys,I think I will go with the XiED since I plan one some sort of a A/C mod here before to long. I will let you guys know what I thinkafter they are installed and been ridin on for a few miles or 1000 since I will be leaving om my trip shortly after they are installed.
docsg,
If you are not read up on SERT, XIEDs, OIEDs, SEIIs, EFI, 2n2one, CO2, ECM, P0130, P0150, and AFR don't worry. I had to look up what an FXDLI was. Ride on with your low injected self.

Slipstream these XIED,s do seem like "the" answer. Do you have any of the hated (in my opinion) popping etc on decel.
It seems to me at least that this could be the answer most of us have been looking for. I,ve a Power Commander, with Big Sucker and Shortshots, if all i read about the XIED,s is correct it does make me wonder if i should have bothered. Plus with the XIED,s you could change exhausts etc and no need to re dyno?
I have an 07 Lowrider and I went with the XIED"s after reading all the posts. I have rush slipons 1.75 " and was having some popping on decell. The XIED'S solved the popping and I feel it runs cooler and I don't see any need to change the AC. The install was pretty simple. Take the seat off to get at the rear plug ins and I lowered my voltage regulator to install the front andit was much easier than trying to get at the front plug from the rear. You'll be happy with the XIED's.

I had some minor popping on decel prior to installation of the XiED's, they have cured that issue for me.
They may not work on all the different setups, but I'm happy with what I got from them.
My son installed the XiED's on his 07 Wide Glide. Harley heavy breather and open pipes. I don't think you could get them from him for twice what he paid. Made the bike smooth at 10mph, no more slipping the clutch in parking lots, cooled it so much that sitting at traffic lights is no longer a concern, plus when he follows me into work in the morning he now stays in third gear whether we're going 25 or 40mph. He says it's made the bike much more fun to ride.
I jumped on the original IED's when they came out for my 08 LR. Had Khrome werks 3 HP+ slipon's and stock AC. Didn't pop on decel originally but started the occasionalpopping after about the first hundred or somiles. I've since switched the pipes to the V&H straight shots and it still pops, andprobably a little more.
Looks like I'llbe ordering the Xied's soon. Guess the hog is a little more thirstier.

Well, you are right--missed reading up on at that stuff--my bad and ignorance. But, I am familiar with FYATHYRIO--it increased the MPG on my "low injected self" from 25 to over 100!
