RE: Ordered SE slip ons for my dyna today.........
I don't think so bronk. I don't think your money would be any good around me. I think I would be the one buying that first round for you. Hang in there, be smart and you will be home before you know it. You will LOVE that ride.[8D]
RE: Ordered SE slip ons for my dyna today.........
Thanks for the dedication Bronk...make it back safe and if you find yourself in NY/LI, i'll buy ya a beer.
Didn't know about SE being pulled...just had the boloney cut slip ons put on today w/ the 1K svc....WHAT A DIFF!...looks great and sounds excellent, and not too offensive so I'll keep peace w/ the neighbors...you gotta do the rejet (carb) or remap (FI) though, but absolutely the best improvement you can make: looks, sound, and performance....make sure you get the SE IIs not the SE Is, also make sure you hold on to the stock pipes (EPA wise)...good luck n stay well
RE: Ordered SE slip ons for my dyna today.........
73 days is not too bad bro... I spent time in the kitty litter box during the invasion in 2003. Then they sent my *** to Japan, and have been here ever since. I ordered my first Harley from here (2006 Low Rider).
I hear you man... 73 days.
I have 10 months 12 days left before seeing my new bike... But it's worth the wait. Stay safe.
RE: Ordered SE slip ons for my dyna today.........
Stay alert and safe over there bro. I served in operation Desert Shield and Storm back in 1991. I got out of the Army in 1992 then got back in in 2004. I reclassed to infantry so I had to do boot camp and infantry school when I came back in. Then I went to Jump school. The Army then sent me to the 82nd Airborne Div at Ft. Bragg. As soon as I got promoted to sergeant I got selected to be a recruiter. I tired to get out of going to recruiter school but couldnt. I graduated last week from recruiter school. My unit at Ft. Bragg is deploying to Iraq in June. I got a 3 year recruiting assignment to recruit in downtown San Francisco. No deployment for me for at least 3 years. I did get to deploy to New Orleans and help out with the Katrina effort for a month. Being a recruiter in San Francisco will be a real challenge and a total change from being a paratrooper infantryman. I cant wait to cruise my Street bob down pacific coast highway 1. I report to San Fran March 30th. I sure will miss jumping out of planes.
Here is a pic of me in Desert Storm at Saudi Arabia Kobar Towers waiting for the ship to come in with our equipment. LOL back then digital cameras didnt exist in 1991. I was the M60 gunner hehe we dont use the M60 now. Wow times have changed.
RE: Ordered SE slip ons for my dyna today.........
Cool pic. yes I can see how going from a high speed paratrooper to recruiter can be a bit of a change. I am a Qualified sniper(went through the Army Sniper school at camp robinson) and in a infantry national guard unit. Unit is very lame however(red arrow) and we arent doing any sniper misssions here(convoy security)You know what they say you can pick your job, but cant pick your mission. How true it is![By the way the old dog M60 is still around here.....I just say a Hummer last week sporting one with aircraft spade grips on it. 240 walks circles around the old girl however. Take care!
