Has anyone used the LePera Silhouette? It seems like it'd be a bit easier on my butt on long hauls since it's a tiny bit thicker than the Bare Bones. Both are great looking seats IMO.
Call me crazy but I have a Lepera sihouette on my sporty andto me it feels just as good as the mustang solo I had a while back but it looks a lot better and sits about 3" lower. You will love the lepera and it will look killer on your bike. In my opinion the vinyl lepera uses looks better than any other and more like leather.
Best of luck with the barebones, Mine is great around town, but brutal on trips of 150 miles or more. I came home from a trip last week and had what felt like a brused tail bone. I just ordered a better paded Danny Gray for the trips
+1..... Except mine is a Corbin Hollywood. I've just ordered a Mustang vintage solo for over 70mi trips.
BTW...... You made a good choise of retailer. Before I order anything, I check to see if Rob's sells it !
Pictured below is the Lepera Silhouette Solo seat that I got from Christine LePera, feels great looks great. If I think I need the bike pants I'll try that but only problem I have is on a Long trip i feel my boys wanting to hide and pull junior in with them. But that is a 100+ miles non stop.
Could that be that since I'm 65 and I used junior since i was 12 has something to do with it.
They look great but I just couldn't take the ride when I tried the Corbin Hollywood on mine. Just too little cushon for my old butt. btw I think only the top of the Cobin is leather...I think they use vinyl on the sides if I'm not mistaken...
