I just got a lepera barebones seat like one week ago to give my bike a more slammed look. I wasn't really worried with comfort but this thing ended up not being bad at all... i have made a few 200+ mile trips on it and i love it to death. Enjoy your barebones... it is a great seat!
I had to run out the Harrisburg Pa to the DMV to pay for my Swap loader Truck tags,If I took the Pick up i would have used about $60 in gas, so I took the Bike. The Solo seat was getting a little pain in the butt , but When I put my feet on the floor boards and off the Hi way pegs that all went away. it felt great and I don't have that pain in the *** feeling after you go non-stop for 200 miles, There is PITA bitxhen about me being on the PC right now.
$14 in gas which I still have a1/2 tank, 10min with the DMV, and $481 for tags. ride out and back on a Harley solo seat from LaPera, Priceless
Jake the Barebones is going to look awesome on your bike. Can't wait to see it!
I've ridden about 2200 miles in the past two weeks, 700 were in two days. I got an Airhawk cushion to put on my Barebones for really long rides and can go a lot further. They are expensive (as much as the seat) but worth it for the long haul rides. I can handle about 200 miles a day on the Barebones by itself. It's more comfortable that it appears and becomes more so the more you ride it and break it in.
My Hollywood Solo is all leather. There's not that much seat there but I find it to be very comfortable. Mostly because where you set is dished out just right for my azz instead of setting on top of a seat. Have done 250 with one gas stop, no problem. Planning on a 1500 two day ride on the 20 of June.

They look great but I just couldn't take the ride when I tried the Corbin Hollywood on mine. Just too little cushon for my old butt. btw I think only the top of the Cobin is leather...I think they use vinyl on the sides if I'm not mistaken...
I looked up Airhawk on line , priced at $160, about 50 to $80 more then a gel. seat. but I heard the gel can cook your butt in the summer and can be a brick in the winter, the air looks like a better seat.
The only thing I would worry about is hitting a bump and with my fat ares it would blow out like a truck tire and scare the **** out me. tee EE
