Hiya all Bobber Bros. I picked a Bobber last August and so far so good. I do gotta say this is the first scooter with EFI. I'm out as to weather I dig on it though(EFI), sure makes playing tough, being a new model and stuff (limited proven info). Been researching all the EFI control boxes to no end and I'm getting irritated trying to finger out whats the best bang for the buck. Think I'll do the techlusion thing and say the heck with it. I only plan on pipes and air cleaner, soes it should be the ticket. I was wondering though, if the dealers gotta get there nose in it and set anything with the computer or if I gotta do something with the O2's? who knows? Hoping to just plug and play. As far as pipes go, I put on 05 lowrider slip ons from dyno power. 122 bucks and everything fits perfect. (A little tidbit for ya). Way cheaper than SE, and not so fat N ugly! Well my 2 cents worth for one day.. Enjoy!!!
Hey, welcome to the board. Sounds good on the Bob. I also am a owner of one and most stuff is out there you just have to search it pretty good because it's not so mainstream yet.
I bought the V&H Big Shots, SE air filter and a SERT programmer, among about 4 paychecks worth of other stuff.
Post a pic if you can, I'd like to see it..
I bought the Dobeck TFI for mine...Best thing I ever did!! I put Cycleshack slip-ons and just a K&N stock air filter and she runs like a scalded dog!! Not a lot of info for this new box for '06. But I think I got it tuned in ok. Waiting to check gas mileage.... Setting as follows (after three good rides): (green) 3 (but I don't think it's adjustable due to the O2 sensors ), (yellow)2, (red) 2. I left the last setting alone,(red/blue) 4. It runs great, smooth power all the way up the powerband..... I would recommend this setup. I'm going this weekend (weather permitting) to dyno it and see if my settings are good.
Congrats on the bike!! Good luck in whatever you decide!!!

Like the looks of your bike with the apes. Now get rid of that front fender!
that's funny.... Do they have a small Bob version?
I'm about 6'3", 220, just can't get away with these long legs. I thought about installing a passenger pillion and removing the front seat and sitting back there if my forward controls don't show up soon. hahahaha
