And I'm not pleased with the numbers.. After the tune, it dyno'ed at 68 HP and 72 lbs. tq. with these 2-1 Bassani Road rage pipes. I definitely would have thought Id be getting much more power then that. Took about an hour and a half to get the tune done. Again, this is on a stock 88 ci. motor. How do these numbers sound? The bike seems to run really good and the tone of the pipes changed and sound much better.
If it runs really good...those numbers sound nice for a 88...you easily picked up 8 hp and probably around 5-8 tq...thats pretty good for intake and exhaust...tune probably could be manipulated a bit for more power...but you would probably have other issues. \\; If you have a PCIII (which i think you do)  \\;i think you may have thrown away some money for a dyno tune...the only reason for dyno tuning would be for a change of cam...everything else can be just downloaded off the website for pipe and air cleaner combos
How does the Bassani pipe sound in comparison to the Big Radius?
As a comparison what are the stock bhp/torque numbers? With a pipe and filter with a tune you should achieve the claimed torque figure at the back wheel as opposed to at the crank, gaining back the lost 10-15%.
I agree with SkyRider. \\; I went through the same thing with stage 1 and I regret doing it. \\; I didn't gain anything from the dyno tune other than decel pop. \\; Stage 11 and dyno tune \\;is a diffrent story though.
dude why did you dyno for pipes and AC? ahh you just tossed 300-500 into the wind brother... should have held out. with what you did you could have downloaded a map to get pretty close to where you need to be... then do the cams and dyno.
My stock 88 with vance and hines pipes ran 68HP and 72 torque. stock aircleaner and no EFI manipulation.
Had to run a dyno free of charge on mine because of a weird exhaust issue. (Had to view both cylinders separately) But everything turned out normal

It was to my understanding that when getting a new pipe, you should have it tuned to dial it in properly. I was running rich with the map that I was provided from fuelmoto, and it ran like crap. After getting the tune, bike runs much stronger and throttle response is better. Im not going to be getting the cams for a bit, so its alright. Id rather have the bike running good now.
