I know I am just pissed off, but $15 is way to high- IF you ever plan on trading it in and upgrading. I have been shopping around local stealers here in CT for my 07 SB and with 900 miles the best offer (mostly stock and mint) is $7500. kbb/nada/edmuns. Now if I bought it for $15 and drove it a year and lost $7500...but I digress. MSRP should be what you could expect to pay. Unless you need an 08, try am 07. Still getting the 96 and the 6 speed.

I would say under MSRP+tax.&nbsp\\; The leftover 2008s should all be under MSRP in July as the 2009s are shipped.

Ironically, I bought my '08 Street Bob here in cold Minnesota during the dead of winter.&nbsp\\; Bikes simply don't move here when there is snow on the ground and no one is even thinking about riding for months yet.
&nbsp\\;
I ended up buying my '08 for $13,000 flat and the dealer tossed in the extended service plan which covers the 1000, 5000, 10,000 and 20,000 mile checkups.&nbsp\\; Then again, consider the timing of my purchase and the location too.&nbsp\\; I have since swung through the dealership and have seen the tagged price keep inching up and up with the urge to ride during the summer.&nbsp\\; I realize the whole "demand" thing, but hey, if they were willing to get rid of them for $13,000 a few months ago, why not now?

Thanks for the input, guys.&nbsp\\; ...So I gather that if they can't do $13k-sub$13k to keep looking?&nbsp\\; I figured they would be more willing to move the 08's w/ the 09's coming in...

&nbsp\\;
Keep in contact with them and keep working.&nbsp\\; They should deal on June 30th assuming they still have good inventory.&nbsp\\; Dealers always will stretch a little more at the end of the month and the last day of HDs 2nd quarter.&nbsp\\;

I'd look for an 07 personally.&nbsp\\; Risers arent made into the upper clamp, more wheel options with the 1" axle.&nbsp\\; Anyway, I bought my 07 in Sept of 07 for 15K drive out and got $500 free accessories.&nbsp\\; Of course down here in Houston, we can ride pretty much year round so they dont discount all that much.&nbsp\\; If you want the 08, wait until the 09's hit the showroom.

Stopped by the dealership to sign up for REC.&nbsp\\; Salesman said price is firm.&nbsp\\; $15k for the bike and either $500 in parts or off the bottom line.&nbsp\\; I think I'll shop around or buy used.

It seems to depend on your location.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I've heard that in the deep south, you can almost name your price on leftover '08's.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; I know for sure that they will cut some really good deals in the Denver area.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; The trick is to find two different dealers with the bike you want.&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; They will REALLY compete for your biz then if you're patient.&nbsp\\; 15K is just too dogone much for that bike.
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
Good luck with your search,
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
John

I was at Seminole Harley today in Sanford, FL.&nbsp\\; They had several 08 sb's in denim blue marked for $12,500.
