I was quoted $200. with HD oil or $230. with the Synthetic oil .
I ask abought warranty for eyher and its the same so , I had them put in the standard HD oil fluids , chrome premium filter ,they also change spark plugs , check everything over ?? and a free ?? wash .
Ended up costing me $115.
I only did it for warranty purposes ..[&:]
 \\;I also had to pay for my 1k service. I thought it would be free buy I guess some dealers offer it and some don't. 18 K out the door for me after tax,tag,title and all the bs fees. The least they could do is a free 1k service.
I found out that my dealership charges 350.00 for 1000 mile checkup,so i'm gonna order the maintenance manual and \\;do them myself.I paid 14,300.00 for a 2007 Dyna Super Glide Left over,5 weeks ago .Since then Ive talked to guy's who got tool bags,discount coupons and so on and so on.I got a payment book and dealership T-shirt.Thanks Fritz's of Ct.
Hold up here........when you plunk down big bucks $$$$$$$$$ for a new car, do you expect to take it \\;back at the first \\;3000K \\;and get \\;a free oil change? \\;Are you kidding me? \\; \\;What planet are you living on? \\;
Sometimes they'll throw in little extras here and here to close the deal, but that's a "per dealer" per sale \\;prerogative.
Nothing in this world is "free".....and with Oil going for $130 a barrel and up.... expect to pay even more in the future even if you do it yourself. \\;
$300++++ for an oil change seems a little high to me. \\; There are cheap DVD's out there that walk you through the maintenance proceedures. \\; It ain't rocket science and you could save lots of $$$.
 \\;
Good luck,
