I already know WHAT needs to be done. What I am looking for a the HOW.... Short of getting a siphon hose and siphoning the gas out is there an easier way? On my Suzuki all I need to do is remove the fuel line and turn on the key and the pump will pump all gas out. Looking for if that can be done on the Wide Glide.
You can do the same thing on a Harley, but you risk the chance of burning out the fuel pump.
I dont think it would be too much of an issue if you run it as low as you possibly can first.
Or you could do the "cut the crossover" trick, and replace it with braided stainless.
Otherwise, siphoning with a little electric pump might be your only option.
