For those of you who are running these on the front and back, I have a few questions. \\; \\;How is the ride? \\; Do they track on the road like the stock Dunlops? \\; What about handling?
I still have the stock up front but I have the SE 180 in the back and noticed a big improvement in how it doesn't seem to grab grooves in the road like it did with the stock rear tire. \\; Is that what you are looking for?
they are good tires, reminds me of a med soft from the sport bikes but they do not last for crap! go with Metzler! i have the dunlops F and R... 17k on the bike 3rd set of dunlops... next time i will go metzler!
JRK,
\\; \\; I have a 180 Dunlop GT502 on the way from Chicago HD. \\; Did you ever run this with the stock front? \\; I have 4k on the front, less than a year on the road, in good shape. \\; What is the size of the Metz you are talking about? \\; I couldn't find one in a 180/60 only 180/55. \\; Thanks.
Metz doesn't make a 180/60 x 17. \\; I've heard the Dunlops don't last as long - how long it does last, I have no way of knowing yet. \\; I'm running to stock front with 8k on it and it is still in great shape. \\; Replaced the rear with a SE 180 a few hundred miles ago and I'm very happy with how this combination rides, grips, and tracks.
