ORIGINAL: rayfinseats

Bags, seats, and jackets rubbing on paint will scuff it up a bit. Such is life, not much you can do about it. When I made my saddle bags I used a soft fabric on the bottom side but never really checked to see what it looks like now.
&nbsp\\;
+1..&nbsp\\; got 11,000+ miles on my bike now and have had it exactly 1 year, some scuffs, a few scrapes, scratched here and there. I bought it to ride it, not to keep it squeeky clean.[&:]

I used 2 short, soft leather dog collars to secure mine and have had no problems.used over a year.

I to put&nbsp\\;it under&nbsp\\;the voltage regulator. I also did damage to the triple tree. I now use the bag with plastic bagges inside. Just to keep everything clean and dry.

I originally mounted it between my sissy bar and my tail light and it started scuffing the fender.
I did the same thing and the paint looks cloudy where the bag sat on the fender.
Can this be buffed out or anyone have any other suggestions? (besides "live with it" which I've been doing for quite a while now).

Got that same problem Stix.&nbsp\\; I have been "buffing" it out every so often, never really getting it completely out but I have been "living with it".&nbsp\\; After reading this post I am going to move or mount my bag differently, I look forward to hearing answers to your Q.&nbsp\\; Best of luck.
