All you have to do is by a new handlebar clamp for an 04. The 05 is a complete housing for a single unit the 04 clamp allows you to add the double bracet to hold both units. (Tach and Speedo) Follow the directions that come with the install kit. The Tach just plugs in no wiring or anything complicated. The only this Harley tells you you have to buy spacers and longer bolts. I did not use them thought they were ugly. They only change the viewing angle a little.
Patch, look further down in this forum under Mini apes and guages and you will see the setup on my bike with the dual guage setup.
