Just had my 07 bob set up on a dyno today and boy what a difference [sm=drooldude.gif] !!
It runs soooo much sweeter and seems to pull much more strongly right through the rev range.
My bike has a ness big sucker, rinehart cross backs and a ki-tec fueler and is now putting out 75.8 bhp at the rear wheel as opposed to 68.3 when I took it in.
How does this compare with other dyna's with just a stage 1?
Just looked at the print out and torque has barely changed from 81.01ft/lb to 81.76ft/lb.
If I had a scanner I would put the graph up [:@] what is really noticable on it is that both the power and torque lines are much smoother, its also hanging on to the power further up the rev range than before.
I don't understand these Bob's...I know the 07 and 08's have the 96CI and yet my 07 Sportster 1200 XLC with a stage 1 dyno'd at 76.5hp with about 75fp torque. What gives?

Sorry, not trying to high jack the thread but I am just about finished with my stage 1 on my 08 Bob and am hoping it will have more power then my Sportster did. Am I looking at this all wrong?

I have a friend that has an old 883 that woops my behind any day all the time both with my 07/1200 XLC and the 08 Bob. An HD tech said the true way to tell about HP is to get both bikes \\;\\\\\\;in 5th next to each other at highway speeds and then throttle down. Not sure how that would work with the SB 6th gear but on my Sportster he wooped me big time. I think his 883 is a 1997 but we both think it's been built but \\;\\\\\\;everything looks stock on it except for the pipes.
Have to look at the power curve.... Does it peak out on torque in the upper REVs or does it come on strong way down low. Does the curve look like a spike or an arc? I would rather have a bike that has a lot of torque down low where most of my riding is versus one that has the torque up near redline.

Airborne\\; true the torque curves are way up there at the higher revs.
