Default Fat Bob Sissy Bar Set ups....too big.

All the sissy bar set ups I've seen on the Fat Bob look too huge, whether they are permanent or detachable.

Anyone have something a little more low profile?

Apparently pickings are slim because of the wider rear fender, nothing made for any other bike fits.

All I want is something big enough to strap a barrel bag to.

I have what H-D offers............but plan on changing when they come out with more options. I needed one now, so I could use my T-Bag system.

I've been looking at the Kuryakyn Plug and Play sissy bar mount:

I don't know if it fits the Fat Bob and I don't know if you can fit a rack to it but it looks pretty neat.

I have the HD one for now, but when someone comes out with a lower one, I'll switch to that.

I got tired of waiting for a solo rack for the DF so I made one. I'm planning on a T-Bag Switchback barrel as a day tripper bag.

Default fatbob sissy bar

Get a 3/16 X 1.5" steel bar stock. Bend it 90 degrees to the height you want it. Weld a 1.75 inch tab on it to attach to the seat/fender mounting hole. Mount a standard harley pad on it.

Stock Harley stuff on mine (did have it powdercoated gloss black) as they didn't have the black avail when I got mine. It is just barely tall enough to secure the
T-Bag Lonestar too.

been lookin myself... i think haulin *** has a removable backrest that fits the fat bob, if you lose the stock seat.. i havent confirmed this, but thats the way it reads... from pics ive seen of it on other bikes looks realy good, clean, no big bars on the side, and you are supposed to to be able to take it off and not even see the supports, which are under the seat.. if you go this route, let us know... it kinda expensive by the time you throw in a new seat an all....
