SPEEDOMETER AND TAC ?

&nbsp\\;I have an 07 Dyna super glide with just a speedometer on my handle bars . Is it something that I could tackle to add a tac,&nbsp\\;on and about how much is it going to cost me ?&nbsp\\; Thanks Phil

oooh hell ya that is easy to do! as far as costs depends on what kind of tach you want to run... you just need to find a remote power line and then plug it in to your computer on the bike... there is a how to floating around for the bob... (i wrote it a while back) and then used the one from Kprease to do the wiring... if it does not get put up let me know and i will track it down for you

I just had this done to my bike.&nbsp\\; I'll check and see how much it is and post a pic as well since I can't do it here at work.&nbsp\\; I love my tach!&nbsp\\; And I think it looks pretty cool with the tach and speedo on the handlebars.

I just saw a combo set-up at the dealer and it looked a lot like what you find on a Sporster.&nbsp\\; Nice big guages.&nbsp\\; Same size as the current speedo.&nbsp\\; They said it would be about $500 for them to do it.

My HD dealership couldn't guarantee that they could install the tach because they don't make one for my year specifically...they said they might have to bring it to a 3rd party....&nbsp\\; So - I found a chop shop that does them all the time and wound up going there. &nbsp\\;

Don't recall exact cost. Somewhere around 2-250.

You can do this yourself if you have a bit of common sense,
ability to follow instructions, and the correct parts.

I added a tach a couple of ways. &nbsp\\;For a while I was using a 2â€ mini tach, first with stock and later with pullback risers. &nbsp\\;Currently Iâ€™m using the Sportster Combo kit that requires the harness to be lengthened to work.
