I can't seem to get the BCT baffles to slide in far enough to line up the bolt holes. Does the baffle sit up against the pipe or is it supposed to go over it a little? If so, I'll loosen the muffler and see if I can wiggle it on. Any tips would be appreciated.
edit: Well, I found that it is indeed much easier to work with if you take the mufflers off. However, in doing so I managed to break off a bolt in a clamp after all the hardware stores are closed. No biggie, but I still can't get the front muffler off even without the clamp. What else could be holding it on?
edit2: Apparently there was a rivet holding the front muffler on, so I had to mostly remove the heatshield to get that out. And I thought this would be a 30 minute job! ha I'll be back in action later today and give my initial impressions of the BCT baffles.

Just curious, are the BCT baffles louder than the SEII baffles? Do you feel that the bike runs better with the BCT baffles compared to the stock SEII baffles? Couldn't you just remove some of the packing to make them louder?
That works for me,I bought a set from this website and the original owner had simply removed the fiber packing and reinstalled the baffles.Nice deep sound but not loud.I actually got a good comment at work the other day,a guy was standing there as I pulled into the lot and said "your bike sounds better than those other guys,it sounds smoother and still powerfull".(My buddies run straight pipes)
