I got mine put on this morning. Totally different ride. Glad I did it.

I know what you mean. I did mine a few years ago and I'm glad I did. Right a bike with mids and everything is in the way.

You can do it yourself,better if you havee some mechanical experience. It's not really hard to do. It will take about 1 to 2 hours to do, depending on how easy it is to understand the installation instructions.

Yep, got it done at the dealers. It was 550.00 for everything. Parts and labor. It took around 3 hours to do. I dropped it off at 9 and they called me shortly after 12. On the 08 models, the inner cover has to be removed also, at least thats what they told me. Thats why I had the dealer do it.

Most everyone does go to forward controls.&nbsp\\; I don't know why they can't make them the way&nbsp\\;the majority of customers want.

Yeah what a difference. I put mine on on the 4th and love the way it rides now. I went the easy route and cut the shaft and didnt have to remove the cover.......WAY EASY!!!

But I agree with Harleypsych they should just make them that way... but then I guess they wouldnt get their $550
