Default uh oh!!!!

my front cylinder breather hole is stripped.... unscrewed the breather bolt and out came some threads... now what do I do.... I remounted, bathed the bolt in 243 loctite and tightened it down as much as it will let me without slipping loose again...
how do I fix this???

you can get a thread repair or you may have to try to re thread it, i would try to do this first with the stock thread pattern, make sure it goes in STRAIT...

won't a thread tap change the size of the hole to no longer accept the breather bolt

An ordinary tap and die can also be used for repairing threads in stripped holes or bolts. Die nuts are dies made for cleaning up old threads, they have no split for resizing.&nbsp\\; This is how I repaired&nbsp\\; few problems I have incountered and not changed the stock bolt.&nbsp\\;
