I have so much buffeting on my bike at highway speeds that it ruins highway runs. We also had some gusty winds today up here in NH and I was using the death grip several times on the run from Nashua to Manchester and back. Despite the wind, today was an awesome day to ride because it was so warm. Today made me wish I lived in this weather year round.&nbsp\\;

Would agree that interstates are&nbsp\\;for Point A to Point B if you are running late.&nbsp\\; I see more on the secondary roads, I cruise at 60-65 though.

It's no fun being the Fastest thing on the Highway, It creates too much stress. I enjoy 65mph.
Seems to feel just about right. Still Fun.

Ideally,cruising at 55-65 is wonderful but sometimes running the back way to point b just doesn't fit within our tme tables.&nbsp\\;Sometimes you just gotta hit the interstate and run wide open just to stay alive. Such is the case with myself this weekend riding to Wilson, NC for the Easyriders rodeo which was 3 hrs away and I work nights so by the time I woke up saturday it was already 2pm.

I'd much rather go 55-65 and enjoy the ride.&nbsp\\; The only time I get on the highways is if I'm in a hurry.
&nbsp\\;
I will usually find a tractor trailer going about 75 on the highway and fall in behind it if I have to get on the highway.

In Los Angeles we have to spend time on the freeway just to get out to some nice riding areas.&nbsp\\; Adding a windshield increased my comfort from 65 mph to 85 mph.&nbsp\\; No more deathgrip even at 100mph.

i am in the chicago area... the side roads can be way way beat up! huge pot holes on the side roads usually bumps us up to cruising on the HWY... i like to roll at 70-75, she will really sit in a good cruise at 85 in 6th
