This place (Dallas) is dangerous enuff in a damn car. \\; I rarely ride the freeways anymore on the scoot unless its for a short hop (a few exits). \\; Even then, if its rush hour, forget it...

P47, I'm with ya brother.
You need to hit the highway just to get to decent riding, and even some not so decent. Made the mistake of running Big Tujunga Canyon road this weekend. Wont be doing that again any time soon. That 80 mph ride home was sooo much nicer.

I cruise all the time on the expressway. \\; I am with Hd_sob on the cagers in Dallas \\;everybody is in a hurry. \\; The 103ci cruises all day around 85 \\;at about 3100rpms. \\;  \\;

Had my ideal ride today of about 175 miles of 55 to 60 backroads with a few stops for drinks. Then stopped for dinner and ran 65 to 70 on a nice curvy road the last 50 miles home.
