Can anyone tell me if the last 6 digits in the VIN are exactly the number of that specific "sub" model produced? \\; The reason I ask is an FXDC I am looking to purchase has a number in the hundreds of thousands. \\; Weren't there a very limited number of those produced?? Please help.
Well I' been doing some exhausting research \\; and the fxdc has been called a "superglide custom" and just dyna "glide custom". \\; And 92 was the year for 2 limited edition models...the Daytona (which there were only 1000+ madei think) and the FXDC. \\; Was it because the fxdc was only made that year? It doesnt really matter, I just want to know the history of my bike. \\; And it was sold as a FXDL! \\; Go figure.
