Can anyone tell me if the last 6 digits in the VIN are exactly the number of that specific "sub" model produced?&nbsp\\; The reason I ask is an FXDC I am looking to purchase has a number in the hundreds of thousands.&nbsp\\; Weren't there a very limited number of those produced?? Please help.

 

Book says last 6 numbers are (sequential Numbers)

Well I' been doing some exhausting research&nbsp\\; and the fxdc has been called a "superglide custom" and just dyna "glide custom".&nbsp\\; And 92 was the year for 2 limited edition models...the Daytona (which there were only 1000+ madei think) and the FXDC.&nbsp\\; Was it because the fxdc was only made that year? It doesnt really matter, I just want to know the history of my bike.&nbsp\\; And it was sold as a FXDL!&nbsp\\; Go figure.
