Windshield effect on MPG?

Has anyone checked their MPG with and without their windshield?&nbsp\\; I was looking at the new QD "Touring" windshield mostly for cold weather, but was curious about the effect on gas mileage.

I never really cared enough to compare my mileage with or without my windshield.........it's better than a car either way

I don't think it would affect mileage much. If the wind isn't hitting a shield....its hitting you.
If anything, the shield is more aerodynamic.

I ride with my Ole lady, 1 with a shield 1 without.&nbsp\\; When we get gas, we are within 10th's of a gallon, no big difference.

Almost no difference in mpg however,W/S I get 55 mph in second, but W/O sheild i'll ge 65 mph in 2nd ....only noticeable difference! except&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;I much get less physical beating W/S!! Ride safe and get the sheild!&nbsp\\;
