Hogrida, Nice ride. I have that same seat on my FXD- how do you like it? I have Kurakyn forward controls on mine. It was one of the first projects I did. It took much longer than it should have but it all came out very well. I learned a lot too. The only thing I don't have is the 'beauty cover' for the old shifter spline. For some reason it wasn't included in my ebay purchase. Doesn't bother me much cause I paid half of what they cost new.

Damn, Hogrida I wanted to ask about your plug wires. I love the red wire look. Did you see any gains in performance when you switched from stock.

I love the look of the badlander seat however it could be softer. I didn't use a cover on the old shifter because it ended up flush with the primary cover after i got wedged into place. I kinda forced it in behind one of the bolts coming out of the engine. I need to get some touch up paint though as you can see from the pic. Sharpie isn't a good match for black wrinkle. As for the red plug wires they are Screaming Eagle, I didn't notice any difference in performance but I put them on the bike after only a few miles. I just thought some red would compliment the flat black.

The setup looks great....just one question...what is that yellow sticker on the left front fork?

That is the New York Inspection sticker. The dealer put it there. I'v seen them on other parts of bikes before, but I didn't get a say in the matter. Next year I'll put it somewere more hidden.

Dude...I'd just rip that off! Hell...I rode my yamaha for 5 years without ever getting it inspected In my experience, the cops usually don't hassel us riders...especially if it's just for lack of an inspection sticker. I could be wrong, but that's been my experience anyway. I can't believe the dealer would do that! Maybe you should buy some chrome fork sliders. It would force the dealer to put it elsewhere
