Just trying to help. Wait, that’s a fragment.
If you replaced your levers you may have broke the stoplamp switch. When you pull in the brake lever it releases the switch which turns the stoplamp on. Check it out and if that's the case it is best to get a new switch and just splice into the wiring near the bars instead of trying to fish it. I had this happen to me and \\;got several ideas from this forum. When reinstalling the lever just loosen the housing slide it back a bit, install the lever then move the housing back in place and tighten. That way you won't break the switch again. Good Luck \\;
I dont give a ***** about gammer I just want to fix my brake light .I have not replaced the levers.I have been searching for a cut on the wires .Ihave replaced the bulb.I got a test light but Im not sure why the front nor the rear lever or pedal will not light it up ussually its one or the other. \\;
since niether your front or rear will activate the lamp, it is common between them. \\; there is a 15 amp fuse associated with the orange white wire that runs through both switches........check it out. \\; says its an accessory fuse \\; but it damn sure runs through both switches. \\; might be an ok place to start.

test with light for power in to each switch
then for power out
if those four points are good, test back to bulb.
if not, test in the other direction.
