Default Tail light help!!!!

I have been rewiring my bike. I took off the turns and did some cleaning up (ie taping and tucking etc.). I have had a sidemount tail and license for a while now. BUT... now I cannot get the frickin tail light to work (the brake wire is red w/ yellow stripe). The run light (blue) comes on but the actual brake light doesnt work. Im about to lose my **** working on it. My test light doesn't even come on when the brake is hit. I've traced it all the way to the front and cannot find a break or anything. I checked the fuses and nothing. I even went as far as to hook up the stock tail light and nothing. Help a brotha out please.

Thanks
Chris

So brake light doesn't work with either front brake lever or rear brake pedal? Either a fuse or bulb. Check the plug under seat.

I went so far as to bypass the plug and nothing. One thing I forgot to mention, the constant works and the brake light wire itself will light up but there is no change from when the brake lever or pedal is placed.

The brake light wire gets power to your test light? But won't light up the bulb? Just trying to understand.

So, you are getting power all the way to the brake light but the light itself will not come on? Brake light still in the same spot? Not a ground issue?

If the light isn't working with either unit, is it possible the switch for the brake light may be the cause? Happened to me once on an older bike, the switch sender had a loose conection.
