I am so sick of getting nails in my rear tire. This is the 4th one. \\; Has anybody had any luck plugging a rear. I am leaving for Sturgis this weekend and cant get it replaced before trip.
I feel your pain, I have replaced 3 rear tires in the 2 years I've had the bike. I would not even entertain plugging a tire let alone a rear one. There is to much at risk, your life being at the top of the list.
I have rode on plugs.If your in \\; abind and you have lot of tread go ahead and plug it with the rope stuff.and check your pressure for a few days should be fine.I just wouldnt ride 100 mph on one
I have had plugs in my rear tires before and been fine. After all, that's  \\;what they make plugs for right..to plug tires! I had a tube in my last rear tire and I picked up a nail about 60 miles from home. I am no longer a fan of tubes in tires. You cant even plug a tire to limp a bike home if your tube gets punctured. And dont even think of using "fix- a- flat" if you have a tube!! At $200.00 - $300.00 a tire, I would definitely plug a new tire if I could get away with it.
we plugged my buddies rear tire last friday. \\; rode about 300 miles this weekend on it. \\; it held up fine... but that is something i would not want to chance. \\;
Well after further inspection and prying with a small screwdriver it was a sliver of glass. I have checked my pressure a couple times since pulling it out and tire seems fine. What do you think? Safe to ride???
Was going to have to buy another tire only thing good that happened got to the dealer my sales guy saw it said man didn't you buy the tire/ wheel option sure enough i did FREE tire and service
