Default Purchasing process, 2009 Super Glide Custom

I am glad it happened and i am really looking forward to my first ride. This is my first bike, too. The process sure wasn't easy, however. Very little flexibility by the dealer. I needed to add stuff--forward mounted controlls, engine guard, windshield, saddlebags--and that obviously added to the cost. Can't help but thing I didn't get that great of a deal. The documentation fees, freight, bike prep, and all looked like an opportunity to make $$$ (by the time you added it up it was 2K on top of the MSRP), but I did it anyway. Everyone has got to make a living I suppose, but those are hard earned bucks of mine! Anyway, i took the plunge. It is a great looking bike.

I had never felt so high and so low when I walked out of the dealership with my first HD. You hate to pay that kind of money. Now, I don't regret a penny of it. Enjoy ...

The price is what it is. I felt the same way. Doesn't matter if you have cash in hand. Maybe if you know somebody. I didn't!

I know i didn't get the best deal i could have but the people at the dealership i bought from see me cpl times a week and i have made some good friends there as its on my way to work. And i waited a long time to buy my first harley and if it cost me an extra 1,000 or 2 it was well worth it cause i have had it for a year and 18,900 miles later iam still smiling everytime i sit down on it. Cant wait to get it paid for so i can buy another.

There is a demand on the 2009's the day of high inventories are over. Well for the time being. The economy needs to improve and its making a move to the positive side. I hope and pray.
