Why are 09 SBs cheaper than 08?

Default Why are 09 SBs cheaper than 08?
I believe they are about 1000 less. Why? Also I wish they had more color options. Not everyone likes Vivid Black or denim colors.

Probably for the same reason the price of the FXDC dropped $1.6 kilobucks the year after I bought mine. Marketing.

They saved money by switching from the black engine to the silver engine, no fender strut covers plus other things I'm sure.

I saw a 08 denim blue with frwd controls and a windshield added. Dealer wanted a little over 15k. Is that a good deal? How much do you think I could get him to go down on that price?

cuz its ugly buy an 07 its the best year no integrated risers with a 96 and 6 speed

You ain't kidding. The 07 was the best year of the Street Bob so far.

Yea but the 06 had that bearing failure and now I have heard of stator self destruction. It also didn't have the 96CI engine.
08 had the integrated risers which are just kind of stupid.
I haven't heard of anything on the 07 that was bad.

I love my 08, but I was a little pissed when I found out about the risers. Are there any other drawbacks to the 08's besides that? I got a good deal on my 08 because the msrp on the 09's was so much lower.
