Why are 09 SBs cheaper than 08?

apoto of the intergrated risers would help the un-inetiated

in the 09 catalog the silver engine costs a grand less to replace than black...

Well this is the best I could do to find pics on the net...

First here is an 07 Bob (06 is the same in regards to risers) Notice that the risers are seperate from and bolted to the top of the triple trees




And here is an 08 on the left (obviously) notice the risers are made into the top of the triple trees.

Well then there you go...the economy sucks, people aren't willing to pay as much, so they cut where they can. Too bad it was in a stupid area for the Street Bob, which is supposedly a "dark custom". Dumb.

Maybe they are made in China? And integrated risers suck. I don't even like the speedo on the handle bars, that is bad enough when changing risers.

08 had the integrated risers which are just kind of stupid.
I haven't heard of anything on the 07 that was bad.
Only the early 06s have those problems. By mid-year they were redesigned (inc the 9deg injectors).

They sure weren't willing to drop the price of the Fat Bob for any reason, economy or not!
