I may be wrong here, but I think it's normal for a Harley to vibrate any time it is running.

At about 2300 miles my fatbob started to vibrate a lot more, mirrors are shaking, get a whole lot more vibration in the foot pegs. It's also vibrating when decelerating, and clutch is desengaged. Took it to the dealer to have them look at it, at the 2nd service, and they said it was due to the clutch cable being loose and the clutch wanting to engage on decel. They adjusted the clutch but I still have the vibration on acceleration. Can't remember at what speeds, i'll have to check again. Unfotunately a buddy of mine cut me off and I laid the bike over, now I'm wondering if the dealerships are going to try to weasel out of fixing the problem I was having before, because it's been laid over.

I am also having the same problem with my 08 bob. The dealer first said that it was the intake gasket then my clutch wasn't adjusted. Now its because I need to have it tuned. I have eleminated all causes that I have read about in this site. Steve from night riders has helped alot and even let me borrow a trial set of xieds (to see it the made a difference compared to my ieds.) Nothing has helped. I have a PCIII on the way. We will see if that helps. My bike developed this problem at about 3000 miles also. The dealer also said I must be lugging the motor. I guess I am supposed to tach it like its a V-rod. None of my other bikes has had this problem not even the high performance S&S motors. I am thinking it has to be in the motor mounts. I love the bike in all other areas I hope this gets resolved.
