Since then........I dont even want to tell you how much I've spend on "goodies"......
and this winter will be no exception. Santa's bringing us some Big Radius pipes and a 5 3/4" headlamp and some auxilliary lamps up front......and maybe a couple other chrome pieces.
Congrats on the bike. I am partial to the Orange and Black Low Rider. The Big Shot duals are loud you can quiet them down with quiet baffles but not that much.
Welcome aboard. I added the Rush 2" slip ons, PCIII and SE air kit with K&N filter from Fuel Moto. This is one form of the "Stage One" kit which is basically a new set of freer breathing mufflers, freer breathing air kit, some sort of SERT or other fuel management pack (or the dealer reprogram of the ECM). I love my setup and the 2" baffle sound is nice and deep. I also have the 1.75" baffles but have not tried them out but all it takes is one bolt to slip them on an off (baffles that is). Here is the link to when I was going to do my install.
The folks were of great help and SK8ROD was unbelievably helpful!! Probably have not thanked him enough, the site was a crapper for a while so I stopped posting. SK, if you are reading this, you are awesome!!
Gemer............ she's a beauty all right. I know it won't read 92 miles for too long. Davedyna is right..... it's just the beginning. I'm definately afflicted with modificationitis which is complicated by Chromeitis. You should see my list for this winter. New 5 3/4" Bullett style headlamp, fog lights, chrome swing arm, chrome sprocket cover, chrome inner primary cover, chrome engine and trans innerface and top cover, chrome brake brake lever, chrome rocker bolt covers, and chrome caps and bolts to replace others that are visible.....plus a few other odds and ends like eithera set of Big Radius pipes or the Screamin Eagle slipons. Yep, I've got the disease BAD!!!
There is something about buying your very first BRAND NEW Harley....that no one has owned or ridden before. Remember your first BRAND NEW CAR...... I'm sure you had used cars, but you'll always remember your first. Everyone should experience that feeling at least once.
Thanks guys,
Well, it's not reading 92 miles anymore, it's already 152...i.e besides me working on the weekend too...
BTW, the "Shell" gas station pumps are weird, the ugly pump does not work unless I press it hard against the tank, what BS! is puts those ugly spots all around the tank. There was also some spill over too...I hate to clean the tank with windshield wipes. How are you guys doing at the pump?
