Hey everyone. Just wanted to let you know about a company who makes a CUSTOM HORN COVERS using the Willie G. Skull collection theme. I could never figure out why Harley makes every other skull accessory EXCEPT a horn cover. Well this outfit has several designs to pick from......and man are they nice. I just got mine today ( ordered Sunday, arrived via UPS on Wednesday) and ordered the "PLAIN SHIELD WITH SKULL INSERT"..BAH 4031.
All I can say is WOW. The Chrome is outstanding and the thing is substantial not only in size but weight. Just for the heck of it, I put it on the scale and it's just shy of 2 pounds. That's one heavy piece. Yes, they are expensive, but if you want to stay true to the Willie G Skull collection, this place has you covered....... ( no pun intended) and it's worth the money. They also make unique air covers too. As soon as we get it on the Softail, I'll post photos. But I can tell you......their work is outstanding.
Yes, they are......but if you would see and hold one, you'd know why. The thing is a MINIMUM of 1/4" thick. It's one of "wish list" items.......but if you're a Willie G. Skull collection........it's the icing on the cake.
Yea, it's a plug and play.... My Husband's out of town but as soon as he gets back, he'll install it and I'll click a few pics and post. We figure, we've spent tons of bucks on accessories for our bikes anyway, so what's a couple hundred more. Plus, not every other bike sporting the Skull Look will have the "same" horn, and you'll be envied. Isn't that why we bling and customize our bikes for anyway?
They have some nice looking stuff. Be sure to post some pics of it installed, LWOS.
I've thought about making my own by getting a round horn cover, PCing it black and putting a finned timer cover on it to match my derby cover.
