Man, that is a great looking Wide Glide. Not to hijack the thread, but which handlebars did you go with. I like the low look. How do you like them?

Thanks man. When I bought the bike I saw it for the nice paint and clean motor, everything else I can bolt on new. Those are one piece fatty drag bars. I like them although I wish the part where the hand grips go would be tilted back just a hair more. A note if you are considering lower bars.. get the lower sissy bar to match or else it looks too weird. Here's some more photos. I need to take some new ones now I got all the shiny steel cables on too.

I couldn't imagine that part would cost all that much to get chromed. Try the indy shops in your area. They can usually point you in the right direction. I wouldn't send it out unless that was my only option. I have a chromer located not 1 mile from me in Cheraw, SC. Haven't used him yet so I can't vouch for the quality but he's definitely into bikes so that would at least give me a little confidence to begin with.

Ladies and gentleman! My relentless pursuit has paid off. I found a solution to my chrome passenger peg bracket problems. Man my heart is still beating fast from having done it! WHOA! HAHA! Okay... so I'm working on my chopper today and the mailman must have came by and left a package in the garage while I was out getting fuses. I notice the package when I finished my chopper and stop to take a break. I found the chrome cover for the peg bracket on ebay! $6.99 it was! HAHA! Okay I had to do a little filing on the edge to get it to fit perfect but at that price I did not curse but went at it enthusiastically. Here's what it looks like now! WHOOOHOOO! Okay I'm a nut I know but we are all here for the same reason. Since I got a spare bracket off of ebay also I'll be making another one of these to sell to recover my costs and make someone else happy, if you're looking for this chrome bracket for your dyna gimme a shout! Here's a photo:
