Default Engine Work

Hey guys I wanted to get some opinions before I start my engine work. currently I have a 02 FXDL Stage I. Well it is time to give it some more go juice. I am really looking to get torque more than HP for my build, so any opinons would be most helpful.

Thanks,
Guns

Are you planning to completely rebuild? If not I would be looking at cams and head work.

I am leaning the way of a total rebuild, but it I can get what I want without it that will do as well. Looking to get atleast or close to 100 ft lbs torque and 100 horsepower

I like the covered shocks and the paint on your bike. Looks good...You don't need to do a complete rebuild to get to the century mark, but it ain't cheap. It will take head work, cams, pistons, exhaust, and tuner (if injected) or carb work if not.

Thanks man, I had it painted a couple of years ago by a dude in KC who used to paint hotrods. The shocks are just progressive 412 full cover shocks.

Cheers and here is getting to the Century Mark,
Guns.

Look into Dave Mackie Engineering, you can find it online. I sent my engine to them from my 06 Wide Glide and on the dyno getting over 100 hp and tourqe. The cost was less than half the cost of the best Screaming Eagle H-D has to offer.
