Ok im new to the dyna forum but not the touring forum. I currently have a 2006 flhxi. I will be purchasing a new bike tommorrow. My fiance will be the proud new owner of a 2009 fat bob. Is there anything that anyone of the experienced riders would recomend for the new dyna. We are allready getting the reach seat, windshield, back rest, and rack. I will be putting a stage 1 kit on it soon but not till after she rides for a bit. saddle bags will also be coming soon.

Congrats to your fiance` on her new Dyna. Other than looking at some different grips and pegs you might want to look at an engine guard. Good luck!

Congrats on your choice. Stirrups on the pegs were one of the most comfortable mods I added but I have forward controls.

I like these saddlebags, not too small but not HUGE like the HD ones.

Here here to Stirrups, I went a different rout with the same effect, Kury Switchblades, heel rest kicks out from the peg for the stirrup and flips in for the twisties, one of the easiest and most comfortable thing I have added ( I have forwards as well)
