A while back I switched from Dyna to softail because I wanted to try something different and I really liked the look. And, after some mod work, my softtail was definitely cool. Everywhere I went I got compliments on it.
But I always felt a little cramped, even after switching out some parts, a new seat, etc. The fact is, I just feel more comfortable on a Dyna and my old Dyna handled WAY better.
So now I have a 2014 Fat Bob. Already have a plan for the mods I want.
Softail to Dyna. Couldn't be happier. Perhaps someday I'll add a Road King or an Indian Chief and I'll be prepared for anything.

Congrats! I also just got a new Fat Bob. Great bike! What mods are you going for?
Right off, I'll do pipes and a stage 1. Beyond that, I'm weighing some different configurations. When I actually have something worthy of seeing, I'll post some pics.
I did order a fairing from Dougz Customs. I think that will look great with the other ideas I have. Not sure how long it will take to get delivered, though.
