Powder/Ceramic Coat Pipes?

Can you powder coat pipes, or is it better to get them ceramic coated. I powder coat everything, just don't know how ceramic holds up.

You can powder coat the heat shield. Just check out JRK's. The pipes themselves, I would ceramic coat.

Yeah you dont want to powder pipes, PC is not made to withstand the heat like the high temp ceramic coating. Use Jet Hot or HPC Coating which is the best coating out there its a true ceramic rated to 2000 degrees a little pricey but well worth it they have a nice wrinkle black.

jsut do the shields man.. you will be fine use one of tiger coatings high temp if you are really worried about it... i find that you can not get the same shine out of a high temp powder as you can a regualar... my buddies tell me i am crazy but, i think i notice a diff so i used high gloss powder on mine.. hold up great! your powder can handle the temps no problem... why do the pipes? just do the shields and they will cover the whole shield... ceramic coating is a whole new ball game bud.. i have a buddy that does it... great work but hard to do right
