guys there are so many EASY questions being posted... please use the search function... there are questions asked and the SAME one asked again the next day... do not want to bitch but WOW!

I agree with you, but, with this new setup stuff just get's put back several pages way too fast..
There is an option to display more posts per page... new people go into edit options and change your posts per page from default to 20-30-40 whatever you prefer... this way you will see more posts on the front page and won't find yourselves asking the same question someone already did yesterday!
also to add to the search function click on advanced and then choose dyna section and more relevant posts to your subject will come up!

how about getting the search engine to allow 3 letter words. Like the following...
fat
bob
wet
dry
air
really annoying to search for wet air filter and all it finds are threads with filter. i know, don't let your filter get wet, but i'm just saying it's hard to use the search when it picks and chooses what it searches for.

My feelings on things...
1. If everyone searched there would be no new posts.
2. The search feature SUCKS. It's why no one uses it.
3. If you don't like a post, please do not read or answer.
4. The site is free... let it be what it is.
5. I like it just the way it is.
6. People like to bitch.
7. I'm an azz for posting to this thread.
8. The Google girl above made this seemingly worthless thread totally worth it. Thus the beauty of the forum.

I wish this site held more pages...I am a member of another site that uses the same engine (vBulletin), and as you can see, the capability is there. I dunno why there is only 4 pages available here...

The vBulletin search feature does suck, but it's way better than what we had before the forum changed software. If you still insist that it's complete and utter crap and that you see no change in the last month or two, it's because you haven't used it.
