I have a 2008 dyna low rider and do not like the tank emblem. I have seen others that I would like to have put on. Is this possible? Has anyone ever had a dealer do it or anyone else?

Not certain on your Bike, but Harley has been clearing over Decals for years, so, it would be difficult at best-I would take it to a knowledgeable Painter and see it he could san the clear down to the Decals-iffy, you may have to have it re-painted-

+1 it is clear coated over the decal. Repaint needed. I am just waiting until I drop my bike and dent the tank..
you can remove them with a heat gun and a razor, but it will have to be blended to fill in the area that the clear was on the decal... it is a real paint to paint tank that have the decals on there, be sure you find a good painter... if he does not propperly prep the tank and removed the decal you will see the marks where it once was (same goes for powder coating a tank). I removed a decal like this on a buddies honda shadow, then we sanded it, and buffed it... looked good... well looked ok, I knew where it was so i could see it every time i looked at the bike, others said it looked great... if it was my bike i would not have done it
