Dont know if you can get Sebring in US as never see them mentioned. I just installed a set, and together with a stage 1 my Fat Bob now beats my stock Street Bob hands down, even with an 80lbs heavier rider. Very aggressive sporty look and noise which seems to fit the Fat Bob ride.
I need some opinions here, I'm torn between a few choices....they will be accompanied by a PCIII and SE Filter.
Thanks
I just posted to another thread about my V&H Black Short Shots. I am running a PCIII and SE air cleaner. My '08 FXDF is Denim Black. Fuel map is from FuelMoto, and I installed the quiet baffles in my pipes.
I love the look but I was afraid they'd make me (more) deaf in my right ear. I like the way the TH sends the sound out the back end.
Do you have any problems with 'em along those lines? (Should I shout? DO YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM BEING TOO LOUD?)
They are a great-lookin pipe!
Dave
When I first put mine on, well the seemed too loud. At least to me, they did, I didn't like the fact that mothers covering their daughters ears (and eyes) when I drove by and got the finger regularly while lane splitting. So I ordered and installed the quiet baffles from V&H. Dropped the sound power down quite a bit, yet still loud enough. I kept the same fuel map, so I guess my engine is running a little rich.
The short shots look good and all, but man, if you really want something different, go with the thunderheaders! You will LOVE the sound and EXTRA performance. Best pipes, hands down. Everybody and there mother has short shots or big radius pipes. They look good yeah, and I'm sure they sound great, but they offer nothing for performance.
