I purchased a new 07 wide glide this year. I was riding at night and started noticing the speedometer cluster light flickering on and off. The headlight did not flicker just the cluster. Took bike into shop they said they fixed it but next night same thing. Take bike in again they cannot find problem so now they have sent away for new speedometer cluster. They gave me back the bike to ride and last night along with speedometer still flickering i noticed the headlight would go very dim intermitently. it did not correspond with the speedometer flickering it was independant of it, it would go dim then go back to full bright. wtf, this is a brand new bike with 600miles. I was hoping it was just a short but obviously not they cannot find the problem. any help on this??
Well, my bike was doing almost the same thing. Except my bike would cut out off a split second, and all the lights would go out. Or the speedo would shoot up really quick then back down.. my stator went bad, so they are replacing that and the voltage regulator.. I should be getting it back sometime next week so we'll see what happens..

2006 dynas have the 8 degree fuel injector cold start issue, shifter recall, steering head "clunk' washer replacement fix, inner primary bearing replacement issue and the famous stator with bolts that back out.
Did the dealer check all the cables to and from the battery, then check the individual wire in the plug to the cluster. Then check to see if your state has a "lemon law" on the books and become familiar with it. Working the electrical systems on the boats I build ,one bad crimp can drive you crazy.
I am asuming they would be smart enough to check that stuff, who knows for sure. I have no idea what iowa has for lemon laws i would hate to have to be thinking about that.
yeah I agree with wideglide95th withthe ground issue. all your grounds on the bike come up under the seat on two studs. Make sure the dealer checks this and also the battery connections. Found mine loose on the battery right after I got it home from the stealer.
