Default Tail Lamp

My tail lamp quit working on a ride. Checked fuse pannel , all connections in the base and the rear brake switch. Got it to come on but the brake light is activated. Nothing in the service manual on this and I noticed the rear brake pads are ready for replacement. Any input would be appreciated.

First thing I did. I was surprised when I opened it up. Not the same as my last HD. Got it to light up took it home and messed with it the next day. Did a search on the forum and found a lot of info. There must of been a loose connection somewhere. No damaged wires under fender, front brake switch OK, messed with the connections on the rear switch. works now. Thanks for the reply

Sure it wasn't ON and not "quit working"? Can't find it anywhere but seems like I had a Service Bulleting re: front brake switch staying engaged and keeping taillight on on certain Dyna years (I think '06 but not 100%).

It's a 07 Bob JRK Stock The only thing I can think of was the connections on the rear brake may have been dirty. It works now. It sucked when I pulled the lense off It's not like my old bike
