both tail light filiments on?
.
now looking for some suggestions on why both filaments in the tail light bulb are on?
.
seems like the brake light switch for the hand brake is in the right handle switch housing,,, but i cannot find the brake light switch for the foot brake anywhere? it it possible that one of these could be shorted and giving me 12volts on both of those elements all the time?
.
as always,, help appreciated!

oh,,
the emergency flashers do not work either,, can any one tell me where that flasher can is?
.
oh ,,and any idea why the flashing rate might be different. all 4 bulbs flash, but the right side flashes faster....odd?
.
i gotta stop,...many, many questions...thanks!
finally had a look, and found the brake light switch for the foot peddle.
it appear good, as it is "open", and "shorts" when i push the rear brake peddle down.
what is odd,, and which proves i do NOT understand the rear brake light circuit,, is that both the wires off that rear brake light switch wire out to the SAME pin in a plug under the seat?
man,, am i confused?............and the trouble remains,,, both filament in the rear tail light bulb are on?
.
any suggestion on how to (cut and isolate),, and/or trouble shoot this problem,,
thanks,,

old color blind eyes,,,
you are right,,, per the wiring diagram,, (from the rear brake light switch), one red and one orange,,, the two reds (that do come together) is one from the front switch and the rear red running in parallel.....which does make sense....
sometimes all i need is for someone to agree....
thanks,,,
mb
it was the front brake light switch,, just like folks told me earlier..
i just gotta learn to read and listen better..thanks langwilliams, back on may 9,,,,good lessons learned here!
.
thanks to all.,,
I agree with other posts, that the front break light switch is a micky-mouse piece of ****!,,,,,,way to sensitive!
.
my fix was to put a rubber boot on the switch plunger , thus making it a bit longer and solving the issue.........others have tapped and inserted a wood screw in that switch plunger...what ever it takes!
.
this is cool stuff,, thanks again,,
marion..
