Brake light switch questions...
Brake light staying on my '87 fxstc - I did a search and found some good info, but nothing I tried fixed my problem. I checked both front and rear brake light switches - both had continuity. Nothing changes when you press either front or rear brake lever, light always stays on. I took the front brake light switch out, and worked the plunger tip by hand, should this have made the light go on and off normally? Bad switch even though it tested ok? Any help would be awesome, thanks.

You could try looking inside the tail lamp at the bulb and connection for the brake light. If it got wet and has corroded, it might be making a complete circuit w/o even working the brake lever or pedal. Just a thought if everything else seems okay.
