How do you remove them? Searched the info a while ago, no luck. What do you have to to get them out, remove the shields etc?

pull the shields... mine had a bolt on the inside of the pipe... between the bike and the pipe (so to speak) just unbolt.... they will slide right out... your biek will not run right without a tune... you will loose a bit on power... to me that is to much to sacrifice to be just obnoxisly loud

Slide right out my ***. I've practically destroyed the baffle in the top pipe trying to get it out. I've decided the only way it's coming out now is to drive it out from the flange end. My original idea was to fill the pipe with golf ***** and pound from the flange end. Unfortunately, golf ***** are slightly too large to fit through the flange. Now considering small wood dowel pieces with fender washers screwed to the ends of each piece, but I'm open to any and all suggestions.

Kerry don't panic... 1st remove the rear pipe...2nd stick pipe minus shields in freezer for an hour(remove baffle bolt first)
now take to garage and as the pipe starts to warm up the outer will warm quicker than inner. It will expand while the baffle remains shrunk from the cold. Take a small punch(or screwdriver) and insert into the bolt hole and tap the baffle out...Obviously angle punch towards rear of pipe... also you can wrap in towel and bang end of pipe against ground(not too hard) and the bafffle will start to slide out the rear.

Nope, never even considered it. They sound great just like they are too me. Plenty loud without being too obnoxious (to most people).

To answer the first question, a guy I work with has no baffles in his Big Radius pipes....man it sounds good....perhaps a little too loud for my neighbors, I mean really loud...(nice)but I think Ill go with the BCT baffles. Is it a easy job to change them out?

I pulled mine out just 'because'. Took it around the block, let the Bob cool down, and PUT THEM RIGHT BACK IN!
It sounded ok with the baffles out but.........I lost way too much low end torque ( yes Joe, I did readjust the FP ).
I am considering the Thunder Baffles.
