I called BCT and they reccomend drilling a new 1/4 inch hole about 6 to 8 inches from the rear of the pipe and placing the baffles even further into the pipe. The original hole is about 3 inches in from the rear of the pipe. Anyone with BCT baffles do this? From what I hear it's like night & day with even a deeper throater sound.

I'd like to hear them without baffles before taking mine out. Of course they're still pretty new so they should come apart pretty easy.

I have Big City Thunder baffles also. Love the sound. Deeper and louder than stock baffles on my v and h. Tried without any baffles just didnt care form the higher pitch sound

I ran my Texas Chopper with the baffles in at first. Later I pulled the baffles and it was louder (better sound to me) but it did give up a little low end torque. The 111 has plenty of torque, so losing a slight bit was no problem for me. I later got a LSC with a 111 and removed the Big Radius baffles before I ever put them on the bike. I have an extra set of Big radius baffles now because I no longer have the Texas Chopper. pretty sure they are one size fits all Big Radius pipes.

stbobber, I went 6" from end of pipe and drilled a 1/4" hole. You can mount the baffle with the washer end facing towards the motor for more top end or have it facing the rear for low end. Thats how it was explained to me from bct. I have it facing the rear but I tried it both ways and didn't notice any gains either way.

Hey Red Devil, did you drill the hole in the top of the pipe?

What about v&h quiet baffles? I was thinking of getting some for my sideshots. After reading the threads about bct. I'm not sure.

Ran mine without baffles for a mile or so, after pulling the stock, and installing the BCT baffles! Sounded like ****! Sure made a racket between shifts and on decel !
