I believe the Indian teardrop is correct, or possibly a Rick Doss Custom aftermarket equivalent ...
I don't think it looks too bad; only thing is, it has a round headlight and some kind of white adapter filler below it. He should be able to get a replacement teardrop headlight to fit it ... but of course, it's his bike--he's good with it that's fine by me.
From personal experience, I don't recommend riding in the rain or on wet pavement without a fender if you can help it ... looks cool, though.
Sorry.. I love a different look and ride, but I just think that is straight up ugly. Doesn't fit the lines of the bike, from my opinion at least.. that fat front tire is pretty cool though!
I agree ,,,extremely poor taste and waste of money ,
"If the guy was a member here would you guys be talking the same way about the bike?"
Absolutely!
We are just pointing out the likes and dislikes of the bike. Nothing wrong with that. I would not be offended if someone told me they don't like my bike or certain mods on it. Some like Dynas, Choppers, Softtails, etc. To each his own. No need for anyone to be offended if you find your taste is different then someone elses.
Just my opinion.

There is a difference between "I would not do it myself" and "Dude that is phuckin ugly". Sorry to be such a stinker. I guess I spent a good share of my life being told what to be and how to be it, that I never got to be me. I finally said the hell with that when my wife left me and I bought the Harley that I was never supposed to have. I am the one paying for my ride, and I am the only one who rides it, so if you don't like it, I could care less. I might be a bit put off though if you felt it necessary to tell me how "phuckin ugly it was". It wouldn't change my like for my bike, but it might change my opinion of you. Just sayin!
